Botox-like GHk-Cu Creams and Serums to Turn Back the Clock and Ditch the Needle

You’ve heard of Botox and its ability to reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Botox is an injectable botulinum toxin which, in small amounts, is used to paralyze muscles in the face. This causes the wrinkles and fine lines on the face to relax and soften, reducing their appearance.

Botox injections aren’t always ideal and require multiple trips to the doctor’s office every few months.

A Botox-like peptide, however, is different. By adding these peptides to cosmetics, you can achieve similar results to Botox, without injecting botulinum toxin into your skin. These peptides have the ability to decrease the muscle activity in your face by blocking the release of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter, rendering the muscle inactive for several months.

Currently, several products on the market incorporate Botox-like peptides to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, but there is one ingredient most of them are missing: GHK-Cu.

With GHK-Cu, you don’t just work on reducing the appearance of the skin; you actually improve the health of the skin and its ability to repair and regenerate.

When combined with the amazing effects of GHK-Cu, a naturally occurring copper peptide responsible for skin rejuvenation, the results can’t be beaten!

Let’s take a look and two amazing products that Boost the power of GHK-Cu…

woman-using-ghk-serumThe Botox-Like Serum – Strong Ingredients for a Powerful Transformation

The first product we want to highlight combines the power of GHK-Cu with the botox-like cosmetic peptides: Argireline and Leuphasyl.

What is Argireline?

Argireline is a synthetic peptide launched in 2001 as an alternative to botulinum neurotoxins (BoNTs), otherwise known as Botox. These peptides offer an injectable solution to wrinkles by imitating the action of BoNTs by preventing the release of acetylcholine, effectively paralyzing the muscles.

A 2002 study published in the International Journal of Cosmetic Science reviews the effects of healthy women using a topical cream containing 10% Argireline (hexapeptide-3). It showed a 30% wrinkle reduction over a period of 30 days.

What is Leuphasyl?

Another cosmetic Botox-like peptide is Leuphasyl, a five-amino peptide that reduces the depth of expression wrinkles and is an alternative to Argireline.

Leuphasyl is a lesser-known Botox-like peptide that works to restrict mimic muscles, which are responsible for expression wrinkles, by modulating the release of acetylcholine. It is used in cosmetics as an effective alternative to the toxic injections of Botox.

Although not as widely studied as Argireline, Leuphasyl is effective with as little as 2% concentration in a serum or cream.

Now, Let’s Maximize Those Results! – Introducing the Amazing “Botox” Serum with GHK-Cu + Argireline + Leuphasyl

In a recent study, the effects that Argireline and Leuphasyl have on the skin, both separately and combined, were looked at closely. The results showed that a combined lower dose of each, provided a safe, yet effective, alternative for Botox:

An active‐controlled trial, compared cream containing 5% leuphasyl® solution (0.05%), cream containing 5% Argireline® solution (0.05%) and combination. Mean wrinkle reductions were 11.64% vs. 16.26% vs. 24.62% for Leuphasyl®, Argireline® and combination respectively. This study suggested a synergistic effect between Leuphasyl® and Argireline®.

Together, these two peptides added complimentary benefits that neither delivered on their own.

On their own, each of these peptides has proven themselves to have Botox-like effects on wrinkles, giving the skin a more youthful, relaxed appearance.

When combined together in a carefully formulated product, the results are dramatic!

Our serum combines 2% GHK-Cu, 5% Argireline, and 3% Leuphasyl.

The combination of Argireline and Leuphasyl work to soften expression wrinkles by reducing muscle movement, similar to the effects of Botox. By adding in GHK-Cu, wrinkles are further reduced as the skin begins to produce more collagen and elastin, the elements of the skin that decrease as we age and cause aging skin damage.

Need Something More Hydrating? Try the Botox-like Cream

The Botox-like serum isn’t your only option for younger-looking skin. As an alternative to Botox injections, this Biopeptide Biocosmetic cream is designed to help you combat wrinkles and restore a more youthful appearance.

Unlike the Botox-like peptides found in the serum, this cream’s main focus is to increase hydration to give the skin a healthier, younger appearance using a combination of dimethylaminoethanol, hyaluronic acid, and GHK-Cu.

Dimethylaminoethanol (DMAE) in Cosmetic Dermatology

This naturally occurring compound has been shown to reduce fine lines on the forehead and around the eyes, improving the overall appearance of the skin.

In a randomized clinical study, 3% DMAE facial gel applied daily for 16 weeks has been shown to be safe and efficacious (p < 0.05) in the mitigation of forehead lines and periorbital fine wrinkles, and in improving lip shape and fullness and the overall appearance of aging skin. These effects did not regress during a 2-week cessation of application. Beneficial trends (p > 0.05 but ≤ 0.1) were noted in the appearance of coarse wrinkles, under-eye dark circles, nasolabial folds, sagging neck skin, and neck firmness. The application was found to be well tolerated, with no differences in the incidence of erythema, peeling, dryness, itching, burning, or stinging between the DMAE and placebo groups. An open-label extension of the trial showed that the long-term application of DMAE gel for up to 1 year was associated with a good safety profile. The acute skin-firming effects of DMAE have been confirmed by quantitative measures of cutaneous tensile strength.

DMAE works by increasing the neurotransmitter production, acetylcholine (Ach), which plays a crucial role in allowing nerve cells to send signals.

Studies also show that DMAE may provide the skin with additional hydrating benefits, adding to the healthy appearance of the skin.

If you want younger-looking skin, the last thing you want is it to be dry and dehydrated! This can increase the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and leave skin looking hollow.

Hyaluronic Acid (HA)

A gooey compound naturally produced by your body, hyaluronic acid (HA), helps retain water and is primarily found in connective tissues, eyes, and skin – or the areas of your body that need moisture and lubrication the most. Although your body naturally produces hyaluronic acid, it is commonly used as a supplement in cosmetic serums and creams, eye drops, and injections.

There are many benefits to using hyaluronic acid as a supplement, but the one we want to focus on is the positive effects it has on your skin. Your skin has more hyaluronic acid than anywhere else in your body. When used as a supplement, it can help your skin look more rejuvenated by binding to water and helping it retain more moisture.

As you age, your body naturally decreases the amount of HA in your body, especially if you’ve been exposed to high amounts of UV rays from the sun or pollution. By supplementing with HA, whether by applying it directly to your face or through injectables, you can slow this decline.

One study found that ingesting a dose of 120-240 mg/day for one month significantly increased moisture in the participant’s skin and reduced the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

While this is exciting news, other studies have shown that applying HA directly to the skin can be just as beneficial by reducing wrinkles by up to 40%:

The new nano-hyaluronic acid clearly demonstrated a significant benefit in decreasing the depth of wrinkles (up to 40%), and skin hydration (up to 96%) and skin firmness and elasticity were significantly enhanced (up to 55%) at the end of eight weeks.

Up the Ante with a DMAE + HA + GHK-Cu Cream

When combining dimethylaminoethanol and hyaluronic acid, you get an amazing synergy that works to provide some serious hydration to your skin, reducing the fine line’s appearance and softening the depths of wrinkles. This leaves you with healthy, supple skin that looks brighter and younger.

When you add GHK-Cu on top of this, your skin is able to produce more collagen and increase elasticity, giving you an extra anti-wrinkle tactic.

These three ingredients, combined in a cosmetic cream creates a powerful combination to create Botox-like effects, gives your skin a boost of hydration.

Botox is a popular way to reduce wrinkles, and while it serves as a good anti-aging technique, it isn’t the most convenient. Typical Botox sessions require you to make quarterly trips to the doctor’s office for injections. With a cream or serum, you just add it to your daily routine. No need to see a doctor, and no uncomfortable injections.

Our anti-aging botox-like serum containing a combination of GHK-Cu, Argireline, and Leuphasyl is a more convenient option that gives you results that are comparable to professional Botox treatments. Plus, there is no need to visit a doctor’s office. This serum can be used right at home as part of your daily skincare routine.

Compared to Botox, there is one downside to using our “Botox” serum, and that is the time it takes for it to be effective.

…But not by much.

While Botox generally takes a week for effects to be seen, the GHK-Cu alternative serum and cream can take up to 30 days. However, that is where the downsides stop, and the advantages cannot be overlooked.

Because you are using your serum daily, the effects won’t begin to wear off in-between treatments.

This should be an easy choice!

Serum vs Cream

So, why would you use a cream vs a moisturizer?

If you are asking yourself this, GOOD!

This is a great question! Typically, creams and moisturizers are used to moisturize your skin, provide it with additional hydration, and deliver the active ingredients. If you have dry skin, this is what you want! That added cream creates a barrier over your skin, locking in moisture. This makes a cream perfect to pair with hyaluronic acid – we’re focused on keeping your skin hydrated!

However, the serum’s goal is not to hydrate the skin but to ensure you get the most from the delicate ingredients in the product.

These ingredients are put together into a serum because serums give you a higher concentration of ingredients (in this case, peptides). These ingredients can penetrate the skin faster and more effectively than a cream. Because the ingredients are not diluted by a cream, which creates a barrier between your skin and the active ingredients, the peptides can be absorbed more easily.
